!!!! DEAR LORD.
Just finished Gurren Lagann for the second time.... and ... damn. so amazing. More amazing, ridiculous, sad, and awesome the second time. Goodness. I still just have no clue how the heck they managed to make such a ridiculous show so dang cool. Before I watched the series the first time, a friend tried to explain it, and it sounded entirely STUPID. But he insisted, so I started watching it, and soon realized that it was indeed entirely stupid, but also entirely AWESOME.

eesh. Well! anywho. aside from Gurren Lagann being sweet, I've been working like crazy in my free time on japanese, and stumbled across a few good pages:

The Japanese Page seemed a little cheesy at first (all the links to members' blogs and stuff made it seem kinda like a corny networking page), but it is actually a really great resource. TJP has a fairly large collection of lessons, as well as a pretty sweet forum community.

Denshi Jisho is a fantastic online Dictionary. It allows you to search by English Words, Japanese romanizations, or with kana, if you have kana input enabled. It has a good section for searching kanji (you can select radicals to search for, or just search by meanings).

So yea, thats that. Its been good so far... Reading japanese constantly is a big big help. I have a japanese friend who lent me some of his Full Metal Alchemist manga, so i've been reading my way (slowly...) through some of that, and picking up a lot of new vocab in that way, as well as increasing speed on reading kana. Anywho. I'll pop back up on dA some time... maybe I'll actually do some art?
